Bodywork
Dene has been immersed in the art of massage since childhood, developing a natural skill for touch and therapeutic care long before entering professional practice. In 2002, she became a Licensed Massage Therapist, formalizing a vocation that had already been central to her life. Over the years, she has pursued extensive advanced training and certifications in a wide variety of modalities, continually refining her expertise and expanding her toolkit.
She is NCBTMB certified and has spent much of her career working with auto‑accident victims, where she specialized in restoring function, easing chronic pain, and addressing complex neck and shoulder conditions. Her approach integrates structural integration and advanced therapeutic techniques, always with precision and care.
Beyond hands‑on practice, Dene has authored Building an Amazing Career, a book chronicling her journey in massage therapy, and now channels her experience into teaching. Her emphasis today is on equipping other practitioners with the systems, ethics, and strategies needed to build sustainable, justice‑centered practices, while maintaining limited availability for in‑person sessions.
